Obituary of Randall Dail Phelps

On December 7, 2020 Randall Dail Phelps went to be with our Heavenly Father. A Las Vegas native, Randy graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1962; followed by joining the Navy and serving until 1964. Not only was he a Veteran, but a charismatic entrepreneur and businessman as well. Mr. Phelps made people laugh and smile wherever he went-he was a people person. However, being a single father raising 2 children was the job most important to him, one that filled him with a sense of pride and enduring love. Randy was kept pretty busy-but whenever he had a moment, he enjoyed making his artwork & was quite talented. He also loved to dance and fancied himself an expert, trying to teach his son Dail how to, “moonwalk”. But most of all Randy loved being a father to Dail, his son. His kids were the most important thing in his life. He treasured his fond memories of teaching them how to ride bikes, building forts with Dail and watching Star Trek, his favorite at the Drive-in. By 2020, Randy would have a grand total of 12 Grand and Great Grandchildren! The proud Grandpa was beloved by all for his quick wit, generosity & warm disposition. Randy will be missed by all that knew him, especially his son Dail; and held in the hearts of his close knit family with their eternal love.
